Flash Banners & Ads
Flash advertisements can be made in all sizes and shapes; from traditional banners to full page interstitials to 'floating' DHTML spots.
One of the great things about utilizing Flash for advertisements is that it's vector-based, allowing ads to be full of animation and displayed in large dimensions without requiring large file sizes; as is the case with Raster-based ads (such as animated gifs or jpg banners).
To the left is a simple banner for the 2008 ALS Charity Golf Classic, designed to catch the users attention through constant movement and vibrant colors.
Even with the sound and animation and large size, the file size weighs in at just 30kb - no bigger than a static image of similar proportions.
Below are a few 'standard' sized 468x60 pixel banners done in Flash for an online pharmacy, allowing for fluid animation while keeping minimal file sizes.
Landing URL's have been disabled from the samples below, but all our banners utilize the standard 'clickTAG' attribute for specifying where to direct a viewer when clicking on an ad.
